Single Day Art Camp at the Farm
Single Day Art Camp at the Farm
Art Camp at the Farm is inspired by creativity & farm life. We will be exploring & combining art with nature to fine tune our artistic skills and discover different mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture & collage. Campers will learn and practice basic art skills as well as explore more advanced and experimental techniques. We will explore the work of well-known artists, but most importantly, kids will be able and encouraged to explore their own style. Art Camp is magical from beginning to end!
Each day will begin with a walk around the farm to get our bodies and minds moving! While touring the farm, and visiting the chickens, we will forage for natural materials that we will be incorporating in our art projects throughout the day. After a short meditation, we will begin creating right away. We will have at least two art projects per day were we will explore new techniques & mediums based on the theme of the day. Campers will also have free play/create time as well as farm scavenger hunts and outdoor games.
This is a mixed age group ages 5-12. Please send your child with lunch and a water bottle. We will have water refills as well as healthy snacks for the day. We apologize for any inconvenience but we are not able to accommodate any special food allergen or diet requests. Art Camp will take place at an operating farmette with live animals, uneven grounds, and lots of open air.
